My name is Andrew Field, I love float fishing and making fishing floats.

My floats are made with meticulous attention to detail from the highest quality materials available. Many of my floats are inlaid with feathers found in old fly tying kits, stuffed birds or other sustainable resources. All floats are handmade by myself, all the cork, balsa, reed, quills and cane are hand shaped perfectly so your float will look and fish beautifully.

Perch Bobs, Porcupine Avons & Chubbers, Perch Floats, Perch Fishing, Perchfishers, The Book Of The Perch, Float Tube, Float Box, Handmade Floats


Perch Bobs & Porcupine Quill Avons & Chubbers!

My latest perch bobs are made from 1 inch cork balls and painted all over apart from the lower stem. They still have the same silk thread work but are a little different from my usual style. I was asked to make them by customer who also specified colours and sizes, I wasn't keen on them to start with but the nearer they got to being finished they began to appeal to me and now I rather like them, im sure they will make great little live baiting floats.

I have also finished the porcupine quill avons and chubbers, I usually use goose or swan quills for the stems but I enjoy working with porcs and they always look great especiallt with a nice cork body!
