My name is Andrew Field, I love float fishing and making fishing floats.

My floats are made with meticulous attention to detail from the highest quality materials available. Many of my floats are inlaid with feathers found in old fly tying kits, stuffed birds or other sustainable resources. All floats are handmade by myself, all the cork, balsa, reed, quills and cane are hand shaped perfectly so your float will look and fish beautifully.

Hello Float Anglers

The long awaited aluminium float tubes are finished and ready! All are handmade by myself from high quality aluminium and are available in both black or clear anodised finish. Each lightweight tube has my logo engraved to the perfect fitting screw top lids and comes complete with a drawstring cloth pouch to stop your floats rattling around inside. I cant think of a better looking and safer way to store your collection of handmade floats! They are ultra strong and hardwearing and an ideal usable size for a small bag. They should hold around 20 reasonable sized floats, ideal to use on the bank or display.

Photographed with the tubes are a selection of freshly finished floats. New Painted Perch Bobs and some large yellow and red tipped Elder Pith on porcupine quill stem chubbers.

Keep checking in as I'll be uploading images of some rather incredible double bodied fluted floats for trotting big chunks of paste. I'll be taking them to India in January for a spot of mahseer fishing! Not the usual method of fishing mahseer but I cant go and not try.
