More Kingfisher Feathers

Hello float anglers, I have just finished some more floats I inlaid with Kingfisher feathers. I know I know say these feathers are rare and your probably thinking my last two updates have both been on Kingfisher feathers! But I only photograph a few of the floats I make & these ones just had to be seen. The chap that ordered them had been waiting until I was able to sauce the feathers so he's been waiting for a while.

There are also some pike floats made with the kingfisher wing tip feathers and also a set of porcupine quills made with the tiny brightest blue feathers on the birds back. I was luck enough to buy a rather dodgy pair of old cased birds cheap (pardon the pun) as 1 had a head missing & the other had fallen off his perch. The feathers were fine though and have made some spectacular floats!!!!
